Penny Walker is a coach and facilitator who is also a Fellow of the RSA, a Chartered Environmentalist and Fellow of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA). In 1989 she took part in the first UK-wide day of activism on climate change. Swapping placards for post-it notes, she now helps people change their organisations and sectors for the better. Her main focus is facilitating conversations about sustainable development, including low-carbon futures and adapting to a disrupted climate. She’s helped people: agree where to let the sea come in; work in their communities to bring in renewables and low-carbon energy; find ways for international bankers and their customers to work towards zero net deforestation in supply chains.

She writes extensively on change and collaboration, including two editions of Change Management for Sustainable Development (2006, 2017) and Working Collaboratively: a practical guide to achieving more (2013).
